I use my ipod touch on a docking station while at home, and pull it off to take it on the go. This is the only case I have found that has a detachable bottom to allow for easy docking. The case is really tough and fits perfectly. The case comes apart really easily and snaps back together easily. It is the best case I have, and it's now the only one I use.

iPod actually more comfortable to hold in this case. The included screen protector is fairly easy to apply and doesn't affect touch sensitivity. (Would be easier to align perfectly if the cutout for the "Home" button was the first edge applied.) Case appears effective in protecting the device from most typical incidents ... but probably not "bulletproof". I would still like a sleeve for the encased iPod ... but VERY pleased with this purchase.

This is the third Otterbox product I've purchased, and the third product from them I am entirely satisfied with. The case has a thin rubber layer on its back so it doesn't slide around the center armrest when I am using the Touch in my vehicles. It's as form fitting as it can be without distracting from the sleek size of the Gen 4 iPod Touch. Love it!

I have used Otterbox's Commuter case, the Impact case, and now the Reflex case.
This is their worse case because it looks very cheaply made, it has barely any grip, and it's their least protective case.
I recommend the Commuter case, because the Impact series case isn't available for the iPod Touch 4G and because it offers more protection than the Reflex without being too bulky. (the Defender series is too bulky).
When compared to all of the other cases, the Reflex case is still above average, and over all, it isn't a bad case. It's just that there are a couple of cases for the iPod Touch 4G that are better than it, including Speck's Raveskin case and the Commuter case.

This was my first Ipod and my first case. I wanted to make sure that I protected my expensive device and so I took some time to look through all of the cases available. I eventually decided to go with this one because of the decent price and great reviews.
I have been using this one for my touch for about 4 months now and my ipod is still in great condition. It was easy to install and did not interfere with the the screen protector I also have on my touch. It doesnt come off and it barely (if ever) sticks to the insides of my pocket.
Yes, its a little pricey, especially in comparison to those cheap silicon cases, but the design of this case has kept my device safe from about a dozen or so drops. If you want to protect your investment, purchase this case. You get what you pay for. :)
