Works better than other modems Jan 11, 2013
By GreenEng We now recommend this modem to our customers to connect to our industrial product (often installed in areas with marginal phone lines). Nothing fancy required - we're just communicating at 9600 baud - but this modem just seems to work better than others for our application (e.g. compared to Zoom/Hayes external serial, Zoom USB, internal PC modem).
The volume control is very handy for customers since they can turn volume up or down using the knob on the modem and don't have to mess around with control panel or AT command settings.

Works great, we have some timeclocks that we have to use the modem to collect punches for and an internal modem seems to not work very well. This works well.
